Steve Thompson leads the Patient Driven Supply Network for Cardinal Health. As a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, he works with health care providers and device manufacturers focusing on Cost, Quality and Outcomes. Since joining Cardinal Health in 2006, Thompson has developed customized supply chain solutions allowing hospitals to have more precise visibility and control over the use of products and devices.

Thompson began his career in manufacturing and supply chain management with General Motors, Delphi Automotive Systems and Lear Corporation. Thompson is based in Dublin, Ohio and is a graduate of the University of Windsor.

Mark Graban is an internationally recognized expert in the field of Lean Healthcare and CEO of Constancy, Inc., a Lean consulting firm. He's the founder, lead blogger and podcaster at LeanBlog.org; author of Lean Hospitals: Improving Quality, Patient Safety, and Employee Engagement; and co-author of Healthcare Kaizen: Engaging Front-Line Staff in Sustainable Continuous Improvements. His most recent project is a collaborative book titled Practicing Lean. Mark's applies Lean and Toyota Production System principles to improve quality of care and patient safety, to improve the customer/patient experience, to help the development of medical professionals and employees, and to help build strong organizations for the long term.

Mark earned a BS in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University, as well as an MS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the MIT Sloan Leaders for Global Operations Program.
