William Lee appointed CEO of Medical City of Children's Hospital and other news makers

William Lee has been appointed CEO of Medical City of Children's Hospital in Dallas, effective May 1. He replaces Keith Zimmerman, who left to serve as CEO of Medical City Arlington (Texas).

Lee, 47, was most recently senior VP and chief strategy officer at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, Ga. He also served as chief administrator for Willett Children's Hospital of Savannah, where he led a $20 million capital campaign to design and build a new children's hospital, which will open in 2019.

Dr. David Crabb has been promoted to chief medical officer of Eskenazi Health based in Indianapolis. He replaces Dr. Chris Weaver, who left the system to become senior VP of clinical effectiveness at Indiana University Health.

Crabb, 63, most recently was chief of internal medicine at Eskenazi Health. Previously he was chairman of the department of medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine from 2000 to 2015.

Dr. Howard Shaw has been named chief medical officer of Medical City Denton (Texas).

Shaw most recently was medical director and CMO of the Great Plains Health Innovations Network in North Platte, Neb. He currently serves as a clinical professor at the Yale University School of Medicine as well as chairman of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology's eModule Advisory Committee.

Armando Colombo has been named VP and COO of Sheppard Pratt Health System in Baltimore, effective April 24. He replaces Bonnie Katz, who was promoted to senior VP of strategy and business development at Sheppard.

Colombo most recently was CEO of Stallworth Rehabilitation Hospital at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Previously he was president and CEO of InterMedical Hospital of South Carolina in Columbia.

C.J. Bhalla has been named senior VP and CFO of Kaiser Permanente Northern California. In the role, Bhalla will oversee the finance strategy and operations of a region that serves 4.1 million members.

Bhalla joined Kaiser in 2006 as CFO of the national information technology unit and VP of national financial performance and planning. Before joining Kaiser, she was a senior VP at Charles Schwab & Co., a bank and brokerage firm and held numerous senior management positions at Household International, a financial services company.

Lydia Jumonville has been named interim president and CEO of SCL Health, based in Broomfield, Colo. She succeeds Michael Slubowski, who will leave in May to serve as president and COO of Trinity Health, Novi, Mich.

Jumonville was most recently senior VP and CFO of Dallas-based Baylor Scott & White Health.
