NorthBay Healthcare promotes Konard Jones to CEO and other newsmakers

Konard Jones was promoted to president and CEO of NorthBay Healthcare based in Fairfield, Calif., effective April 1. He succeeds Gary Passama, who will retire next year after 35 years as head of the system.

Jones, 57, most recently served as president of NorthBay Medical Center in Fairfield and NorthBay VacaValley Hospital in Vacaville, Calif. He joined the system in 1995 as VP of human resources and departed in 2004 to serve as president and CEO of Broadline Medical, a medical supplier in Richmond, Calif.

Jones returned to hospital administration in 2011 as VP of professional and support services at UC San Francisco Benioff Children's Hospital in Oakland, Calif.

Stephanie McNulty has been named COO of Largo (Fla.) Medical Center, an HCA West Florida hospital, effective Oct. 3. She replaces Penny Vigneau, who recently left to take a new leadership position.

McNulty was most recently COO for 10 years at St. Petersburg (Fla.) General Hospital. Previously, she was associate administrator at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point in Hudson, Fla.

Dr. Frank Biondolillo has been named chief medical officer of Palms of Pasadena Hospital and St. Petersburg General Hospital, both HCA affiliates located in St. Petersburg, Fla. He succeeds Dr. George Hutter, who retired.

Biondolillo, 45, an emergency medicine physician, most recently was medical director of the emergency department at the Villages (Fla.) Regional Hospital.

Dr. Timothy Regan has been promoted to chief medical officer at Lakeland (Fla.) Regional Health and president of its flagship Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center, effective Oct. 1. He replaces Dr. Mack Reavis, who retired at the end of September.

Regan, 42, joined the system in 2005 as an emergency medicine physician. He later served in a variety of leadership roles including associate medical director of the emergency department, medical director of information technology, senior chief quality officer and senior chief medical informatics officer.

Before joining Lakeland, Regan was assistant medical director of the ED at South County Hospital in Wakefield, R.I.

Timothy Dentry has been named COO of nine-hospital Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems effective Nov. 7.

Dentry, 59, most recently was CEO for six years of Johns Hopkins Medicine International's Tawam Hospital in Abu Dhabi. He has also served as VP of global services and managing director of Johns Hopkins Medicine International.

Jeremy Redin has been named CFO of Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, Calif. He replaces Paul Brydon, who retired earlier this year.

Redin, 41, most recently was assistant CFO at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys, Calif. He has also been CFO at Alta Hospitals System in Los Angeles, which operates six hospitals in California and Texas.

In his 20-year healthcare career, he has also served as controller at California Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles and controller at Glendale (Calif.) Memorial Hospital and Health Center.
