As healthcare executives face an increasingly dynamic and competitive marketplace and adapt to the ongoing shift from volume to value in care delivery, the next generation of leadership must evolve along with the industry. It will require new ideas and approaches in all sectors. Today’s young executives are already proving they are up to the challenge.
To help celebrate these rising young stars in healthcare leadership industrywide, nominations are being accepted for Modern Healthcare’s annual Up & Comers recognition. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the program.
Nominees must be no older than 40 as of the Aug. 5 submission deadline. Nominations will be judged based on several criteria: the scope of the nominee’s leadership roles and accomplishments; the financial and operating performance of the organization(s) under the nominee’s leadership; the individual’s community service; and leadership roles outside of the nominee’s organization.
Judging will be conducted by a panel of Modern Healthcare’s senior editors.

This year’s class of Up & Comers will be profiled in the Oct. 10 issue of Modern Healthcare and online.
