Kristi Matus, chief financial officer of Athenahealth, will be leaving her post at the end of the month to pursue other opportunities.
Matus took the role two years ago, after previous CFO Tim Adams abruptly left.
Karl Stubelis, vice president and controller, has been promoted to CFO and senior vice president, according to a news release.
Stubelis has been with the healthcare software technology company since 2013. Stubelis has 25 years of finance experience. Prior to joining AthenaHealth, he was at Sapient Corp., a marketing and consulting company, for nearly a decade.
Jonathan Bush, CEO of AthenaHealth, said Stubelis' "experience working with growth companies and multibillion-dollar revenue enterprises positions him extremely well to support our continued growth and operations as a maturing business.”
Based in Watertown, Mass., Athenahealth reported $856.8 million in revenue last year, an increase of 24% over $690 million in 2014.
