Michael Schwebler was named president and CEO of Dearborn County Hospital, Lawrenceburg, Ind., effective in early June. He takes over for Roger Howard, who is retiring after serving in the role since 2012.
Schwebler most recently served as executive director of the heart and vascular service at the Christ Hospital Health Network, Cincinnati, beginning in 2013. Previously, Schwebler was COO at Midwest Ultrasound/Professional Readers Group, before it was sold to the Christ Hospital network in 2008.

Jason Gunter was named VP of finance for physician services. He will oversee all revenue cycle, financial reporting and accounting activities.
Gunter, 47, most recently was executive VP and COO at DSI Renal, Nashville. Previously, he was VP of revenue cycle for Renal Advantage and VP of revenue management at Fresenius Medical Care.
Tracie Stratton was named VP of nursing and clinical operations for the system's Western Group of hospitals. She will provide guidance in the education and training of hospital CNOs and other clinical leaders.
Stratton, 45, joined LifePoint in 2012 and most recently served as CNO at Los Alamos (N.M.) Medical Center.
Russell Palk was named director of government relations. He will be responsible for building relationships with elected officials, civic and community leaders, regulatory agencies and other interest groups at the state level.
Palk, 45, most recently was VP of government affairs with American Addiction Centers. Previously, he served as director of state government affairs for AstraZeneca/MedImmune. He also was Southeast region public policy director for the National Federation of Independent Business.
