A half-dozen senior VPs will exit Milwaukee-based Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare as it continues to combine with Ascension Health.
Ten VPs will also leave the organization, according to a BizTimes report.
The story identified the six as being Chief Medical Officer Dr. Rita Hanson; Chief Information Officer Greg Smith; Chief Nursing Officer Dr. Brenda Bowers; James Gresham, a senior VP of continuing care and clinical operations; Michael Lepore, senior VP and chief administrative officer; and Wayne Frangesch, senior VP of human resources.
According to the BizTimes, the six senior VPs will exit the organization on a staggered schedule over the year. Bowers, Gresham and Lepore will exit by June 30, Hanson and Smith will exit by Sept. 30 and Frangesch will leave Wheaton by Dec. 30.
The 10 VPs who are leaving the organization were not named in the story.
Wheaton and St. Louis-based Ascension announced in March that the organizations had signed a pact making Wheaton's operations and related corporate services in southeast Wisconsin part of Ascension Wisconsin.
In 2015, Wheaton reported $1.8 billion in total revenue, according to the healthcare systems financial database at Modern Healthcare. Ascension reported $20.3 billion in total revenue for 2015.
