    Consulting

Prism Healthcare Partners, a national healthcare management consulting firm based in Chicago, has announced several leadership changes.

David Shade has been named board chairman; Mukesh Gangwal has been promoted to president and CEO; and Bradley Fetters has been promoted to COO.

Gangwal has been a managing partner at Prism since 2013. He has more than 30 years' experience in consulting, previously serving in a variety of leadership roles at several global consulting firms.

Fetters also has served as a managing partner since 2013. He has more than 20 years' experience in consulting, and is nationally recognized as an expert in workforce management and optimization.

Shade co-founded Prism in 2013 and has served as the firm's president and CEO. During his 40-year career, he has held C-suite roles at six consulting firms.

    Stone

    Government

Dr. Richard Stone was named principal deputy undersecretary for health at the Veterans Affairs Department. Stone will serve as second-in-command to Dr. David Shulkin, the VA's undersecretary for health.

Stone, 64, has served in the Army and civilian clinical practice, and has served multiple calls to active duty. He also was the director of healthcare operations for the Defense Health Agency transition team, where he presided over the transition of 10 shared services to the DHA from the Military Health System. Stone also owned and led an ambulatory medical and surgical practice in the private sector.

    Davis

    Hosptials and Health Systems

Blaine Petersen has been named CFO at Loyola University Health System in Maywood, Ill., effective March 28.

Since 2010, Petersen, 59, has served as CFO of St. Alphonsus Health System, a hospital network in Idaho that is part of Trinity Health. Previously, he was VP of financial services for Catholic Health Initiatives from 2000 to 2009 and VP of network services for Rocky Mountain Health Care from 1994 to 1995, as well as CFO of Holy Cross Health Services in Salt Lake City from 1990 to 1994.

Darcy Davis was named CEO of the Health Care District of Palm Beach County (Fla.). She joined the district in July 2011 as chief institutional officer, with direct oversight of Lakeside Medical Center in Belle Glade, Fla.

Davis, 45, was promoted in January 2014 to COO/CFO, overseeing the operations and finances of all district facilities.

Dr. Dennis Rochier was named CEO of Overlake Medical Clinics, based in Bellevue, Wash. It is a new position that will oversee a network of clinics offering urgent-, specialty- and primary-care services.

Rochier, 57, most recently served as VP and chief medical officer for the acute-care division of Renown Health, Reno, Nev. Previously, he practiced internal medicine and worked as a hospitalist for more than 20 years.
