Stuart, Fla.-based Martin Health System has announced a successor for its retiring CEO.
Rob Lord, the system's senior VP and COO, will serve as its next president and CEO. Current leader Mark Robitaille, 64, plans to retire within the next year.
An ad hoc committee of Martin health board members and medical staff leaders evaluated candidates for the position, with help from executive search firm Korn Ferry.
Lord, 57, joined the system in 1998 as VP and chief legal officer, and has served as senior VP and COO since 2014. He played a part in the development of Tradition Medical Center in Port St. Lucie, Fla., where he was later named senior VP of system facilities management and Tradition Medical Center campus leader.
