Chicago-based Presence Health has appointed Dana Gilbert as chief strategy and population health officer.
Gilbert, 57, began working at Presence in late October. This is a new position for the 12-hospital system.
Before joining Presence, Gilbert was COO of Advocate Physician Partners, a care-management collaboration with Downers Grove, Ill.-based Advocate Health Care. During his 15 years with Advocate Physician Partners, he also served as vice president for clinical innovation and growth, leading its engagement in value-based care agreements and population health management.
Gilbert isn't the first Advocate Physician Partners executive to join Presence. Michael Englehart, former president of Advocate Physician Partners, joined Presence in October, succeeding Sandra Bruce as president and CEO.
