Chicago-based Rush Health has appointed two new executives to its C-suite, both effective immediately.
Dr. Michael Raymond has been named CMO of a network of hospitals and physicians that includes Chicago's Rush University Medical Center. He replaces Dr. Catherine Dimou, who took a position in academics at Rush University.
Raymond, 62, previously served as associate chief medical quality officer at Evanston, Ill.-based NorthShore University Health System. During that time he also served as medical director of Evanston-based Community Care Partners, a collaboration of four health systems focused on caring for Medicaid-eligible patients.
Before NorthShore, Raymond, an internist, worked as CMO at Rush North Shore Medical Center in Skokie, Ill. He's also served on the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality's National Advisory Council.
Julie Bonello was appointed chief information officer, a newly created role. She comes back to Rush after beginning her career as a nurse at the system's flagship hospital.
Bonello, 59, most recently served as CIO at the Chicago-based Access Community Health Network, a federally qualified health center network. She has also held CIO positions at Lurie Children's Hospital and Cook County Health and Hospitals System, and worked in healthcare IT consulting at First Consulting and PricewaterhouseCoopers, all in Chicago.
