    Hospitals and Health Systems

Kelly Johnson has been named chief nursing officer and VP for patient-care services at Stanford Children's Health and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford, Palo Alto, Calif.

Johnson, 55, will begin her new role at Stanford on Nov. 2. She brings over 22 years of executive and CNO experience to Stanford Children's, which is a part of the Stanford Health Care system.

Since 2008, Johnson has served as chair of pediatric nursing and senior VP and CNO at Children's Hospital of Colorado in Aurora. Previously, she was VP of patient-care services and CNO for 15 years at Craig Hospital in Englewood, Colo., a rehabilitation facility.

Centerstone, a Nashville-based behavioral health provider, has named Kent Crossley executive director of Centerstone Military Services, which provides services for military members, veterans and their families.

Crossley, 58, is a retired colonel in the U.S. Army, where he served for 30 years. At not-for-profit Centerstone, he will oversee operations, development and fundraising for the provider's specialized military programs, which include free or low-cost counseling, online communities, a 24-hour crisis line and family counseling.

Most recently, Crossley was president and owner of Libre Energy Utility Professionals, which helps commercial and industrial businesses reduce their energy use. He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and the Army War College and served a stint as senior civil affairs commander for the Army in Iraq.

    Loveman

    Insurers

Aetna has hired Gary Loveman, former CEO of the failing casino empire Caesars Entertainment Corp., to become president of Healthagen, Aetna's health services and consulting arm.

The addition of Loveman to Aetna's executive team marks another step in Aetna's pursuit to expand its Healthagen brand. Healthagen works with doctors, hospitals, health systems and other insurers to change how they are paid and deliver care.

Loveman, 55, an economist by training and a former Harvard University professor, had been CEO of Caesars for 12 years before resigning in July. He built the company into one of the world's largest casino conglomerates, but since the financial crisis of 2008, Caesars has hemorrhaged billions in losses. In 2014, it lost $2.8 billion on revenue of $8.5 billion and has lost $8.8 billion over the past five years. Its largest subsidiary filed for bankruptcy this year.

    Enochs

    Quality

Brian Enochs has been named executive VP of business development and marketing at the Joint Commission, the nation's largest hospital accreditation organization.

Enochs, 54, replaces Chuck Mowll, who retired in May. In addition to managing development and marketing, Enochs will have oversight of external and state relations.

Before joining the Joint Commission, Enochs was interim head of marketing and commercial analytics at Boston-based Intarcia Therapeutics. He also served as general manager of business development, strategy and commercial analytics at North Chicago, Ill.-based Abbvie Pharmaceuticals.
