Kelly Johnson has been named chief nursing officer and VP for patient-care services at Stanford Children's Health and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford, Palo Alto, Calif.
Johnson, 55, will begin her new role at Stanford on Nov. 2. She brings over 22 years of executive and CNO experience to Stanford Children's, which is a part of the Stanford Health Care system.
Since 2008, Johnson has served as chair of pediatric nursing and senior VP and CNO at Children's Hospital of Colorado in Aurora. Previously, she was VP of patient-care services and CNO for 15 years at Craig Hospital in Englewood, Colo., a rehabilitation facility.
Centerstone, a Nashville-based behavioral health provider, has named Kent Crossley executive director of Centerstone Military Services, which provides services for military members, veterans and their families.
Crossley, 58, is a retired colonel in the U.S. Army, where he served for 30 years. At not-for-profit Centerstone, he will oversee operations, development and fundraising for the provider's specialized military programs, which include free or low-cost counseling, online communities, a 24-hour crisis line and family counseling.
Most recently, Crossley was president and owner of Libre Energy Utility Professionals, which helps commercial and industrial businesses reduce their energy use. He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and the Army War College and served a stint as senior civil affairs commander for the Army in Iraq.
