Christus Health reported a 1.6% increase in total revenue for the fiscal year ended June 30 as the Irving, Texas-based system's net patient revenue climbed 3% over its fiscal 2014.
In financial statements filed to bondholders, Christus reported operating income of $55.8 million on operating revenue of $3.6 billion.
The system's percentage of net patient revenue from Medicare, managed care and commercial payers increased during the fiscal year while Medicaid and self-pay revenue declined.
Premium revenue from the system's health plans was down 4.9% to $161 million in fiscal 2015 from the previous year.
