Erin Denholm has been appointed CEO of Trinity Home Health Services, a division of Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health, one of the nation's largest not-for-profit health systems with 86 hospitals, including 12 in Michigan.
Denholm, who replaces a retiring Grace McCauley, will oversee Trinity's home health and hospice operations. McCauley served as CEO of Trinity Home Health since it was created it 2001.
Trinity has 115 continuing care facilities, and home health and hospice programs that provide nearly 2.8 million visits annually.
“We are confident that Erin's energy, vision and proven track record of success will help ensure that we are delivering people-centered home health and hospice care throughout our 21-state system,” said John Capasso, Trinity's executive vice president of continuing care group, in a statement.
Denholm previously was at Centura Health in Denver, where she was CEO of the company's home care and senior living communities. She also was Centura's senior vice president of clinical transformation.
