The chief innovation officer at Dartmouth-Hitchcock has left the Lebanon, N.H.-based health system to “pursue other interests,” a spokesman said.
Terry Carroll, who was responsible for information security, new business development, medical informatics and clinical use of data, among other things, has left the system. This comes as Dartmouth-Hitchcock prepares to implement Epic Systems Corp.'s billing and scheduling software later this month.
A system spokesman said that the Epic project and its team, which includes CFO Robin Kilfeather-Mackey, continues to operate on schedule. Dr. Peter Solberg has been named the system's chief medical information officer and Carroll's replacement, and had already been working on the Epic implementation.
Carroll came to Dartmouth after serving as CIO and vice president of transformation at Fairview Health Services in Princeton, Minn.
