Dan Babb has been named CFO of DMC Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan, a part of the Detroit Medical Center system.
Babb, 54, most recently served as interim CFO at Valley View Medical Center in Fort Mohave, Ariz., a part of the LifePoint Hospitals system. He'll begin his new role at the rehabilitation hospital on May 11.
Before working with LifePoint, Dan was CEO at Oakland Regional Hospital in Southfield, Mich., between 2010 and 2014. He has also worked in financial leadership positions at Garden City (Mich.) Hospital and the Warren, Mich.-based St. John Providence Health System.
The Detroit Medical Center system is owned by Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare Corp.
