Franklin, Tenn.-based Capella Healthcare has promoted one senior VP to the executive management level and three VPs to the senior management level.
Mark Medley, 49, formerly a senior VP at Capella and president of hospital operations, has been promoted to an executive VP role, and will continue to serve as president of hospital operations. He joined the company in 2008 and currently serves as chair of the Tennessee Hospital Association.
Richard Charbonneau, 48, has been promoted from VP of business development to senior VP of development at Capella. He joined the company in 2005. Charbonneau will also be responsible for managed-care contracting in addition to his development responsibilities.
Robert Wampler, 51, who has served as VP and COO of hospital operations, will now serve as senior VP of hospital operations. He's worked with Capella since 2007 and has also served as division COO and CFO working with the system's 12 hospitals.
Beth Wright, 55, has been promoted to senior VP of corporate communications and strategic marketing, a step up from her former VP role. Wright has been at Capella since 2010, and also helps Capella hospitals with community relations.
