MedAssets recently added two new officers to its C-suite, just over a month after its founder, John Bardis, stepped down as CEO.
Charles Garner has been promoted to executive VP and chief strategy and transformation officer, after serving as executive VP and CFO at the Alpharetta, Ga.-based group purchasing and revenue-cycle management company. Anthony Colaluca, has joined to replace him as CFO.
Both appointments were effective immediately when announced earlier this week. The chief strategy and transformation officer role is a new position for the company.
Garner, 44, became CFO in April 2011, after joining MedAssets in 2005. Before that, he had worked at Coca-Cola Enterprises, Bain & Co. and American Management Systems, a former consulting firm that is now a part of CGI Group.
