Dr. Reginald Eadie, an emergency medicine physician and CEO of the Detroit Medical Center's Harper-Hutzel Hospital, has been appointed CEO of DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital.
Eadie, 46, will assume the role on March 27. That's when current CEO Dr. Iris Taylor will retire, after 40 years with the health system.
Before joining DMC in 2008, Eadie was emergency department chief and associate chief of staff of integrated clinical services at John D. Dingell VA Medical Center in Detroit. His first position with DMC was VP of medical affairs at Harper University Hospital and Hutzel Women's Hospital.
Eadie was appointed president of Detroit Receiving about two years later, and president of DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital in January 2012. A native Detroiter, Eadie has served as CEO of the Harper-Hutzel since October 2013.
