Larry Anstine, CEO of University Hospital at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, will retire in March after more than 25 years with OSU in Columbus.
Anstine, 55, will be replaced by Marti Taylor, a registered nurse and executive director of the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital. Taylor, 50, will continue to lead the cardiovascular hospital in addition to her new role as CEO of University Hospital.
After joining University Hospital in 1990, Anstine served in a number of leadership roles until becoming executive director of University Hospital East in 1999. He was the heart hospital's inaugural executive director when the facility opened in 2004, and assumed the role as University Hospital CEO in 2005.
