Bonar appointed CEO of Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota

Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota has named Robert I. Bonar as its next chief executive officer.

Bonar, 62, will replace retiring CEO Dr. Alan L. Goldbloom. The leadership change will be effective on December 8.

Bonar comes to the Twin Cities from Austin, Texas where he is currently president and CEO of the Seton Family of Hospitals, and CEO of Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas. He has held prior positions at Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters Health System in Norfolk, Va., and The Children's Hospital at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
