Voting is now underway for Modern Healthcare's Community Leadership Awards for 2014, recognizing healthcare executives for their service to those outside of the organizations they lead to improve their health and well-being.
From April 14 through June 23, nearly 50 nominations were submitted for this year's awards. The 10 finalists, chosen by the senior editors at Modern Healthcare, appear on the ballot. One winner and several honorable mentions will be selected, with 50% of the outcome based on reader votes and the other 50% controlled by the senior editors at Modern Healthcare. All honorees will be profiled in the Nov. 17 issue of Modern Healthcare and online at ModernHealthcare.com.
