Telemedicine growing in Ohio, but faces obstacles

The use of telemedicine technology is growing in Ohio as hospitals seek innovative ways to serve patients and avoid costly penalties for readmissions built into the Affordable Care Act. But widespread use of telemedicine faces several hurdles, including billing for services, safeguarding the system from abuse and simplifying which doctors can work across state lines.
