Aegis Health Group has named Chuck Steinmetz its new chief information officer, effective immediately.
Steinmetz, 52, will manage Aegis' proprietary software applications and tools. Aegis, based in Brentwood, Tenn., provides population-health management services to hospitals and health systems.
Most recently, Steinmetz was a divisional vice president of operations for Emdeon, an information technology firm that specializes in the revenue cycle. Overall, he has more than 30 years of IT experience.
