Officials at Greenwood, S.C.-based Self Regional Healthcare are still grappling with a Memorial Day weekend break-in at one of its administrative complexes that put hundreds of patients’ personal information at risk. A security breach occurred May 25 when two thieves broke into the Support Services Center and made off with a hospital-owned laptop that contained an undetermined amount of patient account records.
