Regional West Health Services, a standalone system in Scottsbluff, Neb., has named John Mentgen president and CEO, effective Aug. 1.
Mentgen will replace Dr. Todd Sorensen, who will retire this year.
Mentgen has 20 years of healthcare experience. He most recently served as executive VP and COO of Franciscan St. Margaret Health, a two-campus system with locations in Dyer and Hammond, Ind. Mentgen also was VP of operations and COO at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Mo.
