Dr. Scott Howard has been named chief medical officer of Remedy Informatics, a company that provides clinical registry technology and research informatics capabilities.
Howard, 47, previously worked at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as a professor and director of clinical trials for St. Jude's International Outreach program. He starts his new role July 1.
“Over the course of his career, Scott has demonstrated a keen understanding of the role of technology innovations in accelerating discoveries and developing new and more effective treatments in healthcare, and he will be a key asset for us moving forward,” Remedy Informatics CEO Gary Kennedy said in a release.
The company, founded in 2003, is based in Salt Lake City.
