Fairfield Surgery Center, part of Orthopaedic Specialty Group, is National Surgical Hospital’s first presence in Connecticut and eighth ambulatory surgery center nationwide. The for-profit chain also owns and manages 13 specialty surgical hospitals.

“Our focus is musculoskeletal, and [Fairfield Surgery Center] fits very much in that focus,” he said.
