Intelligent InSites, Fargo, N.D., has named Shane Waslaski president and CEO.
Waslaski, who also joins the company's board of directors, comes to Intelligent InSites from Varistar, where he was president of the manufacturing and infrastructure business. He also served as a corporate officer and senior VP for Otter Tail Corp., of which Varistar is a management and holding subsidiary.
Waslaski's other experience includes operational leadership positions in healthcare delivery organizations and consulting for healthcare customers, including hospitals, clinics and insurers.
“In our search for the next leader of Intelligent InSites, we sought a seasoned and dynamic executive with an exceptional understanding of healthcare operations,” Doug Burgum, Intelligent InSite's executive board chair and interim president and CEO, said in a release. “Shane brings the ideal blend of proven leadership, customer focus and operational intelligence, along with a breadth of expertise in lean principles and efficient healthcare delivery models.”
Intelligent InSites' platform collects and processes data from multiple sources—including electronic health records, financial systems, building systems, and sensory and real-time location systems—and uses that information to provide actionable intelligence for cost savings, increased efficiency and improved care.
