Michael Raymer is the new VP of solutions management at Medfusion, a developer of patient portals for physician offices.
Raymer, who has held executive positions at companies that include Microsoft Corp., GE Healthcare and M*Modal, joins Medfusion with more than two decades of leadership experience in the development of healthcare enterprise software, medical devices and consumer health products.
In his new position for the Cary, N.C.-based software company, Raymer will direct Medfusion's product portfolio and development of its strategic framework.
“The addition of Mike to the Medfusion team speaks to our commitment to bring cutting-edge innovation to the market before anyone else,” Vern Davenport, Medfusion president and equity partner, said in a news release. “Mike and I have worked together over the years, and I know the strategic value, knowledge and experience he brings will help further guide the development and evolution of our product base and the organization as a whole.”
