N.C. Medicaid providers to gain access to patient data

A step toward more transparent and complete patient record availability has been taken by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. The agency has signed a data-use agreement with the state health information exchange that makes Medicaid clinical and claims data available to physicians at the point of care.
