Wellcentive hires Clark as CFO

Patrick Clark has joined Roswell, Ga.-based population health management provider Wellcentive as its chief financial officer. Clark had been CFO at the former Vocalocity, now Vonage Business Solutions, a cloud-based communications services company. Other former positions include serving as CFO and executive vice president of finance at the Weather Channel.

"Pat's strategic and financial acumen and building of exceptionally successful media and technology businesses comes at a pivotal time in our company's history. We look forward to leveraging his vast experience as we rapidly build value for our customers and investors," said Tom Zajac, Wellcentive's CEO.

Wellcentive offers cloud-based products to track care workflow, perform care gap analysis, and provide automated patient outreach, outcomes reporting, predictive modeling and risk assessment, among other services. The company has received recognition in several recent sector studies as a leading provider in the fast-growing population health management space, and in April it secured a new investment from three equity firms to continue fueling its growth.

"As providers and payers transition from fee-for-service to value-based reimbursement, a comprehensive population health management strategy will become the tipping point to achieving clinical and financial outcomes-based goals,” Clark said in a company release.

Zajac joined the company as CEO last October. He most recently served as chief customer officer at Elsevier.
