Dr. Joanne Mather Conroy has been named CEO at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, Burlington, Mass., and also will serve on the leadership team of Lahey Health, the medical center's parent system. She begins her new duties July 10.
Conroy, 58, has served for the past five years as chief healthcare officer at the Association of American Medical Colleges, Washington, where she has worked with teaching hospitals across the country to establish national health priorities. Prior to the AAMC, Conroy served as the executive VP of Atlantic Health System, Morristown, N.J.
