Hancock Medical Center, Bay St. Louis, Miss., has appointed Tom Ramsey as CFO, effective April 21.
Ramsey joins Hancock with 15 years of healthcare financial operations experience, most recently as CFO at St. Bernard Parish Hospital in Chalmette, La.
He is the second new executive to be added to Hancock’s leadership team this month. Thomas Steiner was named CEO of the hospital effective April 7. In February, Hancock formalized an agreement to have New Orleans-based Ochsner Health System manage the Mississippi facility for two years.
“This relationship will ensure continued high-quality services and affordable healthcare for residents of Hancock County and surrounding communities, as well as provide specialty services between Hancock Medical and Ochsner that have not been available at Hancock Medical in the recent past,” Larry Ladner, president of Hancock’s board of trustees, said in a news release.
