GuideIT taps healthcare unit president Lyles for CEO post

GuideIT, an information technology company based in Plano, Texas, announced its appointment of Chuck Lyles to CEO.

Lyles, who most recently served as president of the company's healthcare solutions division, takes over the CEO role from Scott Barnes. Barnes, who co-founded GuideIT in 2013, will continue to serve as managing director.

Lyles brings more than 30 years of organizational leadership experience to the position. In addition to founding Lyles Consulting, where he developed strategies and initiatives for healthcare organizations, Lyles once served as VP at Dell and for a decade was president of the healthcare group at Perot Systems.

“As we continue to innovate and expand our services in the healthcare space, I am confident that Chuck Lyles is the right person to lead GuideIT,” Barnes said in a news release. “Having worked with him for more than 20 years, I have been privileged to witness his incredible talent, his understanding of customer needs and his relentless drive to deliver solutions that exceed expectations.”
