Humana announced that Christopher Kay has been appointed senior VP and chief innovation officer of the Louisville, Ky.-based insurer, effective March 17.
Kay's primary responsibility will be to focus on innovations in personalized health designed to simplify the healthcare experience and improve health outcomes. Kay joins Humana from Citi Ventures, Citigroup's global corporate venturing arm, which he joined in 2007. Kay was managing director and CEO, leading efforts to improve the customer banking experience through digital, mobile and data technologies and services.
