Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center, Houston, added two new executives to its team with the appointment of Dr. Harold Gottlieb to chief medical officer and the promotion of Allen Tseng to COO.
Gottlieb, a board-certified internal medicine physician, joins Memorial Hermann from Christus Health, Irving, Texas, where he was the Gulf Coast regional CMO.

Tseng, who previously worked at Texas Health Resources, has been with Memorial Hermann since 2010. Before his promotion, he served as the hospital's senior director of business development and ambulatory services.
“As we continue to expand our broad array of services and programs and maintain our unrelenting focus on quality and patient safety, it's more important than ever to attract and retain top talent,” Memorial Hermann CEO Keith Alexander said in a news release. “Both Allen and Dr. Gottlieb are the best of the best in their respective fields and each will be a tremendous asset to our executive leadership team.”
