TriZetto Corp., Denver, appointed R. Andrew Eckert CEO of the healthcare information technology company, effective March 17.
Eckert, known for his experience in healthcare information management, operations, finance, strategic planning, product development and marketing, has served as CEO for several healthcare and software companies. He joins TriZetto from CRC Health Group, where he has been CEO of the Cupertino, Calif.-based behavioral healthcare services provider since January 2011.
“With over 10 years of experience as a chief executive, Andy will lead TriZetto's continued development and growth,” Vicky Gregg, chair of TriZetto's board, said in a release. “Andy's deep knowledge of the healthcare business, strong sector expertise and wealth of leadership experience, combined with our talented team, will help us deliver high-quality solutions that enable a sustainable, integrated patient-centered healthcare system.”
