Publicly held physician-led healthcare system USMD Holdings, Irving, Texas, named Michael Bukosky executive VP and president of its physician practice management.
In his new role, Bukosky is responsible for the operations of USMD's more than 250 physicians and associate practitioners across the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
“I am excited to welcome Michael to the executive management team of USMD,” Chairman and CEO Dr. John House said in a release. “With more than 35 years of experience in hospital administration and clinic and physician group administration and operations, Michael brings a great deal of knowledge and leadership and organizational skills to USMD."
Before this most recent appointment, Bukosky served as CEO of University of Louisville (Ky.) Physicians, the University of Louisville School of Medicine's multispecialty physician practice group. In addition to other experience, he also spent more than two decades in administrative roles at Scott and White, Temple, Texas.
