The University of Louisville (Ky.) School of Public Health and Information Sciences named Jack Barnette its associate dean of academic affairs and professor of bioinformatics and biostatistics, effective Jan. 1.
Barnette joins Univ. of Louisville School of Public Health and Information Sciences
In his new role, Barnette will also help the department of biostatistics and bioinformatics develop the school of public health and information sciences' first online degree, a web-based master of science in biostatistics. Barnette, who has been a professor and an administrator at several universities, most recently served as associate dean for academic and student affairs at the University of Colorado in Denver.
