Breast cancer organization Susan G. Komen named Betty Wolf VP of development, effective Feb. 24.
Wolf, who began her career in biomedical research, brings 18 years of not-for-profit development experience to the Dallas-based organization. Most recently, she served as the VP of Eisenhower Medical Center's foundation in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
“Betty's background gives her a unique perspective in bridging scientific research with meaningful public health outreach and advocacy—the foundation of Susan G. Komen's work,” Komen President and CEO Dr. Judith Salerno said in a release. “She has significant expertise in building successful development programs and excellent accountability for donors. We are delighted to welcome her to the Komen family.”
