Melanie Brim will be the new president and CEO of the Michigan Health Council, effective April 1.
Brim, who is replacing retiring CEO Anne Rosewarne, 74, comes to the council from the Michigan Department of Community Health. There, Brim, 61, served as state health officer and senior deputy director of the state's Public Health Administration. She also provided leadership for a $1.7 million federal grant to design a new healthcare delivery and payment model for Michigan.
