Sound Physicians in Tacoma, Wash., named Dr. Scott Sears chief clinical officer.
In his new role at the hospitalist organization, Sears' responsibilities include oversight of clinical outcomes, clinical and physician policies, and physician training and development.
“This position enables Sound Physicians to hone its performance management expertise even further and fulfill our mission of improving the quality of care for the patients we serve,” Sound Physicians CEO Dr. Robert Bessler said in a release.
