Tisa Hughes will begin serving as chief legal officer for Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, effective March 31.
Hughes will be in charge of corporate legal strategy for the not-for-profit health plan based in Wellesley, Mass. She will also, on behalf of the plan, work with state and federal public officials and regulators throughout New England.
Hughes, an attorney with experience in healthcare law, comes to Harvard Pilgrim from Beacon Health Strategies, Boston, where she serves as general counsel.
“Tisa brings a wealth of healthcare experience to Harvard Pilgrim,” President and CEO Eric Schultz said in a release. “I look forward to working with her as we chart the future for our company.”
Hughes' age was not immediately available.
