The partnership began last year, and was formally launched in late January. It will be anchored by a multimedia marketing campaign—known as Together—which will include print, radio and Web ads, as well as a website, FightingCancerTogether.com.
The clinical piece of the partnership will allow physicians at the Colorado Blood Cancer Institute to enroll patients in Sarah Cannon clinical trials, giving them early access to potentially life-savings therapies.
The two groups also are working together to develop programs to diagnose and treat breast and lung cancer.
HealthONE's hospitals included in the initiative include the Medical Center of Aurora, North Suburban Medical Center, Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center, Rose Medical Center, Sky Ridge Medical Center and Swedish Medical Center.
