Ron Galonsky is the new CEO of Lakewood Regional Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Effective Jan. 20, Galonsky joined Lakewood from Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, Calif., where he most recently served as chief operations and integration officer. Galonsky, 51, has 24 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
“Ron has an extensive background in hospital operations, capital improvements, business development and physician relations that will benefit our patients and this community,” Dr. Ronald Hartman, governing board chairman of Lakewood, said in a news release. “We welcome him and look forward to working closely together to further the mission and goals of the hospital.”
