Modern Healthcare is pleased to announce that Fred L. Brown, John R. Griffith and Yoshi Honkawa have been chosen as the latest inductees for the Health Care Hall of Fame.
Brown's career in healthcare administration spans nearly 50 years, including almost two decades of leadership at hospitals and health systems in the St. Louis area. He helped conceive, develop and advance the concept of integrated healthcare delivery, which he put into practice while serving as the founding CEO of BJC Health Care in St. Louis. Brown, 73, also was active in healthcare organizations regionally and nationally, including stints as chairman of the American Hospital Association and the Joint Commission.
