Austrian hazardous materials specialists were called in after a dump truck carrying a load to an incinerator set off Geiger counters. What did they find? Radioactive adult diapers. Firefighters from the hazardous materials unit of the city of Linz found nearly two dozen diapers from a hospital that had become contaminated with radioactive iodine. The substance is swallowed during some medical and diagnostic procedures. Fox's Pizza Den delivered prescription medicines and other supplies to ill and elderly residents so they didn't have to go outside in the bitter cold, even if they didn't order pizza.
