A bill intended to address New Jersey's projected doctor shortage continues to move along in the state Legislature. On Thursday, an Assembly panel approved A-4507, sponsored by Assemblywomen Caroline Casagrande and Amy Handlin, providing a loan redemption program for new doctors with in-demand specialties who work in underserved parts of the state.
