MedSynergies, an Irving, Texas-based company that provides software and consulting services to help physicians manage their practices, hired Doug Hansen as CFO.
Hansen most recently was CFO for Accelion Health, a company established by venture capital firm Accretive LLC. He previously was a finance director for the healthcare division of Perot Systems, now part of Dell Services.
“Doug's broad expertise and drive will help provide a financial foundation that will allow our operations to flourish into our next phase as a growing healthcare services company,” MedSynergies CEO J.R. Thomas said in a news release.
MedSynergies was ranked No. 15 on Modern Healthcare's 2013 list of Healthcare's Hottest Companies.
